I need the "whistling" one on the left -- Not the Hayneedle one on the right. (Facebook is STALKING ME)
Cyber Monday Christmas Shopping?
Maybe You Should Travel Incognito
November 25, 2012
By: O. J. Cunningham
This cyber Monday idea may be something to careful about.
Oh sure . . . it's easy to just sit on the couch and spend hundreds of dollars with a mere click of the mouse.
Free shipping? . . . absolutely.
Free gift-wrapping? . . . No problem.
(Apologies to the Little Mermaid . . .)
Disney's Little Mermaid
They've got bargains and BOGOs a-plenty . . .
Discounts and Cash-back galore.
Keurigs? . . . They've got twenty . . .
But who cares?
No big deal.
I want more.
Actually . . . I don't want MORE . . . I just need one of these damn whistling duck tea kettles. (Pictured at the top -- on the left)
But ever since I searched for the whistling duck tea kettle in question . . . every time I go to Facebook . . . There's an advertisement for the other tea kettle (the one on the right) from www.hayneedle.com in the right hand column.
I admit . . . I did view the Hayneedle tea kettle. But it's not the one I want. I'm never going to buy the tea kettle on the right. I only want the whistling duck tea kettle on the left.
But now, I'm being stalked by Hayneedle.
Browse "Incognito"
Seriously . . . I went to Amazon.com this morning and guess what? There was the Hayneedle Tea Kettle in a list of items that somehow Amazon knew I'd been looking at.
Wait a minute here, boys and girls . . .
This "tracking" activity as far as my browser activity might just be "over-the-top."
I suggest you consider browsing "incognito" when Christmas shopping this year on Cyber Monday. And you should always browse incognito when using someone else's computer to do any kind of spending.
Remember . . . someone is tracking you . . . someone is watching your every move . . . and OMG . . . if you tell some random computer to "remember" your password and login.
Yikes!!
And Oh Yeah, If any-body's got one of those yellow, ducky-looking whistling tea kettles . . . E-mail me.
