MOVIE REVIEW: "Ocean's 8"

"Ocean's 8."

Cute show. Not great, but good.

The cast was excellent. I never expected to see Cate Blanchett or Anne Hathaway in parts so different from what I've seen them usually play. Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter make up the remainder of the eight.

It begins as "Ocean's 11" did.

Debbie Ocean, Bullock, is having her hearing with the parole board. She really lays it on thick and gets paroled. She gets out and starts connecting with her friends. She has been making plans to rob the Metropolitan Gala for five years.

It's amazing the precision involved. Of course, there are plot holes. Of course in real life, they probably would have been caught. The glitz and glamor are great.

It is a fun movie, much like the other "Ocean" movies are.

So go. Have fun. Eat popcorn.
