Libraries ROCK! Summer Reading Program
June 11 - August 11, 2018
Summer Reading Program at the Bay County Library System begins June 11! BCLS staff has been feverishly planning workshops, movies, performers, and activities for this year's theme, "Libraries ROCK!". The best part about Summer Reading Program is it's completely FREE to participate, plus you could win excellent prizes like an HP Chrome notebook or a gift card, just for completing your reading log. That totally ROCKS!
Another popular feature of the program is the annual
Design-A-Bookmark Contest. Children entering Preschool through 6th Grade in the fall are invited to create a bookmark celebrating Books & Reading. Winning bookmarks will be reproduced and distributed in our libraries during September. Entry forms and official contest rules are available at your branch library or online at
www.baycountylibrary.org. The contest ends August 11, 2018.
To get geared up for a summer of reading, fun, and prizes, each branch library is hosting a no registration required kick-off for ALL AGES! Join us for one of these rockin' events:
