"Bay Area...On the Go!", a development profile, will be presented by Your Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, October 19 at the Doubletree Hotel Bay City-Riverfront.
Tickets are $375/table of 10 or $40/person. The event opens at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m.
"Bay Area...On the Go" is a program that showcases the Bay Area and the economic development opportunities here. It is also an opportunity to recognize businesses that have made significant investments in the Bay Area.
This year's program will also focus on the community events, activities and festivals that make Bay City an exciting community.
A motion picture entitled "Bay City is Play City" will be unveiled at this year's event and the Dow River Roar, Labadie Pig Gig, Fourth of July Celebration, River of Time and Tall Ship Celebration will receive special "Bay Area...On the Go!" awards; as will five local businesses.
Dow Corning's, Dr. Gregg Zank, will deliver the keynote address, Steve Yencich, CEO of Michigan Tourism & Lodging Association, will speak using the theme "Pure Michigan" and a program entitled "Backstage in Bay City" will feature Bay Area arts and community leaders.
A new, exciting part of the program is a special "Salute to the Bay Area" held at the Bay City Riverfront in the afternoon. This will highlight events and attractions in the Bay area, including the Appledore and Princess Wenonah, and provide a great opportunity for networking over coffee and dessert.
I hope to see you there!
