The large white ship
Europa from Den Haag, Holland is one of the most beautiful ships in the fleet. It's also one of the ships on which you can book passage for a trip.
According to the Ship's web site
www.BarkEuropa.com
"Bark EUROPA sailed since 1994 on all oceans and has the reputation as what a sailing ship really is . A professional crew of 14 and maximum of 48 guests of all ages and nationalities crew sail the ship. Tall Ship - lovers , even those with no sailing experience , are at the wheel, hoist sails , navigating , etc."
(Note that if you visit the site you'll need a translation program unless you speak Dutch. If you have a Google Tool Bar installed with your browser its translator works great.)
If you're lucky enough to get a look below decks you'll find beautiful woodwork, small private berths with their own private toilets and showers, a library, meeting rooms and dining room. And it's air conditioned!
MyBayCity.com was graciously given a tour by Ship Liaison Officer Bob Chadwick. Come along with us to see some highlights.
