The Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center (NWCAC) Presents Feets Of Strength 5K Race/Walk - 'Making Strides Against Abuse'

On Friday, September 4, 2009 at Imagination Station Entrance north of Bay County Community Center, on 800 JFK Drive, and continues on Bay County Riverwalk.

Race time begins at 6:00 PM.

Walk-up Registration at 4:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. day of race.
  • 5K Run/Walk $20.00 with shirt / $25.00 without shirt
  • Kids, $7.00 includes medal.


  • Run awards to 1st place overall male & female, top 2 finishers in each age group: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

    Walk awards to Top 5 finishers overall male & female. Walkers MUST Walk Only NO RUNNING please.

    Results will be posted at www.BARC-MI.com

    100% of the proceeds from this event benefits the Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center which provides valuable resources to child victims of sexual abuse and their non-offending families as well as focusing on community awareness of child abuse and neglect and prevention programs.

    Karen Lotter, Events Coordinator for NWCAC, said, "The 5K is a new fundraiser for us, we are just getting our feet wet with this and are hoping for a good response."
