THE PLOT: TWELVE ANGRY MEN has been a favorite of among American court-room
dramas since it first appeared in 1955. Tension is there from the start as
twelve jurors try to decide the fate of a young man accused of murdering his
father.
Their instructions to decide "beyond a reasonable doubt" sound
easy, but not everyone agrees on what is reasonable. Tempers flare; words
are exchanged, and the audience is witness to the American judicial system
put to the test.

stronger by casting both men and women.
