Seventy-five players turned out for the National Paddleball National Doubles Paddleball Tournament at the Sparrow MAC in E. Lansing, Michigan.
Bay City paddleballers earned two National Titles.
Bay City's Midland's Ron Malecki and Bay City's Sandy DeGreif defeated Kalamazoo's Andy Mitchell and Ed Maher in a tie-breaker to claim the 55+ championship trophy.

In the combined age 70, Bay City's Chad Krager and California's Emmet Coe took the title.

UPDATED 4/24/2018 -- Bracket Added
Krager and Andrew Price (Saginaw) took 2nd in Open that went to a tie-breaker. 21-19, 17-21, 10-21. Krager-Price were up one game and ahead 17-13 in game 2 before relinquishing the lead to the now 5-time Champ Emmet Coe, and his partner Brian Pineda (now his 2nd Championship won.) Both Coe and Pineda are from California.
