Forget art. Put your trust in ice cream.
Charles Baxter
My Beachbody coach would be appalled.
The uber nutritionists in this world would shake their heads in sad remorse at my frozen treat concoctions.
However, Ben & Jerry's would be in my corner and celebrate my love and addiction to ice cream. In fact, I may have kept their company afloat.
It doesn't matter the flavor, because they are all delicious.
Rocky Road, Mint Chocolate Chip, Butter Pecan and even plain old Vanilla. You can dress them up with sugary syrups, sprinkles, crushed candy, and mountains of whipped cream. Or, they can be enjoyed on their own without any added calories.
They can be eaten in waffle cones or in pretty bowls.
The vessel has no affect on the delightful taste and sometimes a spoon and the container directly from the freezer delivers the most satisfying ice cream experience.
They can be consumed when one is happy, they can be devoured when one is depressed.
They can be enjoyed in the privacy of your home or on a park bench outside the store.
Ice cream is truly the all purpose food.
Now, about the diet I'm trying to adhere to, well it might debate me to the contrary...And I'll think up my best response to that right after this bowl of Chunky Monkey.
