The holidays and the New Year always seem to give me a headache.
Used to be you could just "take two aspirin and call me in the morning."
What's the worst scenario you can imagine after a night "on the town?"
For me, it was a trip to the medicine drawer in search of pain relief.
Nothing there. No aspirin. No Excedrin. No NOTHING!
Seriously . . . NOTHING!
Sunday -- Drug Store closed.
MUST HAVE PAIN MEDS.
Drive to Meijers . . . Find the pharmacy aisles.
Excedrin
Alka-Seltzer
Tylenol
NOW . . . We have choices.
Oh yeah . . . We got choices, baby.
Now normally, I can plow through all of the choices. I know what works. I know what my body wants.
But . . . Good God!
I can't even focus . . . let alone read all these labels.

As if there are not already enough choices to bring a migraine sufferer to their knees . . . NOW there's yet ANOTHER package on the shelf for someone who just won't own up to the fact that they HAVE A HEADACHE.

I am truly "boggled" by the concept of "less pain reliever"medicine.
In my brief lifetime, I have endured
no-lead gas
no caffeine coffee
sugar-free gum
no-calorie, caffeine-free coca-cola
and . . . I can't believe it's not butter.
I knew what I needed to buy.
I pawed thru the Nyquil choices . . .
Nyquil Daytime . . . No Thanks.
Nyquil Nighttime . . . No Thanks
I need "NYQUIL WINTER" . . .
Hopefully, that will put me to sleep until Spring . . . or at least until I get one of those "everyday headaches."
