Downtown Bay City hosts the 4th Annual Arts in Autumn

Fall is just around the corner and Downtown Bay City will be celebrating it's arrival with the 4th Annual Arts in Autumn. This event celebrates art created by local students and professional artists. This year's theme is "Fall Favorites.
Downtown sidewalks will be decorated with chalk artwork created by over 100 local elementary students. Downtown restaurants will be provided with colorful placemats for their tables, created by over 600 intermediate school students. Plus, over 80 panels displaying the artwork of local high school students will be displayed on lamp posts throughout Downtown streets.
The partnering of professional artists with downtown businesses will continue again this year. Over 30 businesses and artistswill be participating. Each artist's work will be available for viewing Thursday through Saturday. Artists will be on-site for the "Gallery Hop" on Saturday, September 24th, from noon to 3 p.m. This is a great time to meet the artist, watch them work and purchase some one of a kind artwork.
Establishments hosting artists and the Gallery Hop event include: A & J Galleries, Mulligan's Pub, Allan's Shoes, My Secret Garden, Antique Racks, Nielsen Gallery, Atrium, Pepper Tree Place, Bay Antique Center, Sempliner's Bridal Salon, Bay Musical Arts, Inc., Spirit Yoga, The Dancer's Shoppe, Stars & Stripes Forever, Country Shoppe, Forget-Me-Not Bridal Mall, State Theatre, Garden of Art, The Stork Shoppe, Gathered Traditions/GT Homestead, Studio 23/The Arts Center, Gatsby's Saloon & Eatery, The Sweet Boutique, Herman Hiss & Co., Violets Blue, Herter Music Center, Ward Studio Gallery, MeadowCreek Clothiers, Water Front Market & Deli, Memory LaneV Wind & Willows on the River, Migun Body Sense, and You Do The Dishes
