Local figure skater and U. S. Figure Skating Intermediate Pairs Jr. National Champion, 14 year old Madeleine Gallagher, will be making her film debut in the upcoming movie starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg (SNL), That's My Boy , to be released on Father's Day, June 16th.

When director, Sean Anders, needed a figure skater for a scene in the movie, he knew just who to call, long time high school friend, Sean Gallagher (Madeleine's father).
Madeleine and her family drove through the night to Boston last June and spent an entire day on set filming the brief clip in which she will appear. Miss Gallagher was able to watch other parts of the film being shot, as well as "hang out" in the director's trailer surrounded by all of the stars' trailers.
Madeline meets with Adam Sandler
Madeleine has aspirations of being an actress and is excited to have her first movie experience at such a young age with such a well known actor as Adam Sandler.
Although, her mother isn't thrilled about the movie being rated R or the topic, she thinks it was an amazing opportunity for her daughter.
"I'm excited to see Madeline on the big screen, even if it's only for a little while. Everyone has to start somewhere." said Gallagher's mother.

Madeleine is a very devoted young lady and works very hard to succeed at what ever she is involved in. I think your article was well written and I will be watching for more articles about her as she proceeds thru life! She is not a pretender so you will never see her in the Political field!
