Time . . . Ticking Away

Seems the older you get, the faster time goes by . . .
Time . . . it is the most precious gift you can give.
Giving your time, when life is busy, is a tough accomplishment for many.
What comes first in your life? What is priority? Is it family, job, time for yourself.
In a recently homily, at a Sunday Mass, the focus was how God should come first and foremost before anyone and anything. God should be the priority in your life. Even before your loved ones.
God gave you everything you have, family, job, home. Start the day out right, with a prayer and thanking God for being alive.
Taking time out of your busy lifestyle and making time for the important things in life, God, family, friends is important.
And . . . is one thing I need to do more of.
I don't know how many times I've said, or heard from a friend, "Let's get together sometime and have dinner." I always, say unless it's marked on your calendar, it's not gonna happen, unfortunately.
Is dedicating one hour a week at Church enough? . . . Don't have enough time to spend at worship?
For example: Is it a priority to get in your daily work-out? If you schedule 30 minutes a day, to take care of your body, what about 30 minutes a day to take care of your spirituality? Shouldn't that be more important?
Consider concentrating on the interior instead of the exterior.
When you have company visiting, are you worried about the surroundings, and making everything look perfect, or do you sit down, relax, and visit with the family or friends at hand. (Deal with dishes when your company is gone, thats my motto.)
Praise God first and he will take care of the rest.
